It is my greatest pleasure to invite all the members of the Korean Society of Anesthesiologists (KSA) and all anesthesiologists from around the world to KoreAnesthesia 2021 to be held from November 4th (Thu) to 6th (Sat) in Bexco, Busan, Korea.

Recent developments have been very challenging for healthcare members as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are living in a time of unprecedented uncertainty. However, the pandemic has shown us the value of partnerships and perseverance, and how, together, we can make a difference to patients’ lives. In line with this change, I ensure the KSA’s commitment to support our members and colleagues navigate through these challenges and advance our academic achievements through KoreAnesthesia 2021.

KoreAnesthesia 2021 will be filled with an exciting program that will stimulate anesthesiologists and healthcare members from around the world to learn innovative and significant research outcomes and clinical innovations in the various fields in anesthesia, pain and perioperative medicine. In addition, this conference will offer special opportunities to reflect upon and celebrate our past accomplishments, renew friendships, extend our networks, and jointly explore current and future scientific endeavors.

On behalf of the Korean Society of Anesthesiology(KSA), it is great pleasure and an honor to invite you to the KoreAnesthesia 2021 International Congress to be held at the BEXCO in Pusan, Korea from Nov 4 (Thu) to Nov 6 (Sat), 2021.

Since its foundation on November 10, 1956, the Korean Society of Anesthesiologists (KSA) has grown and developed into a representative academic organization in Korea with more than 5,500 full members, 16 subspecialty associations. Until now, the Korean Society of Anesthesiology has contributed to national healthcare by successfully organizing various national-level meetings and congresses.

The outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 has resulted in the postponement or cancellation of several academic meetings. However, Koreans are successfully controlling the spread of COVID-19, and all Koreans are working hard to overcome difficult situations. Thanks to their dedication, we believe that the KoreAnesthesia 2021 International Congress will be held successfully.

This congress will provide valuable opportunities to learn updated medical knowledge and information through lectures and discussions by internationally invited and domestic outstanding scholars. With your valuable contributions, this scientific program will continue to provide an opportunity for all participants to exchange the latest information and ideas, and encourage debate on the many diverse anesthetic and perioperative issues.
